Sketch tips for your summer trip
Drawing in the woods (and what's coming up next)
A couple of weeks ago I was in the German Eifel leading my art retreat "Drawing In The Wild." One of my favorite things we did: gather art tools in the forest. Sticks, twigs, even leafs and flowers became tools, along with the ink I brought for everyone. So much fun!
Want to try this yourself? This video will get you started.
It was such a great edition of the art retreat, that host Robin and I are doing it again in August next year. More info soon, but you can already read all about the retreat here.
Can't wait that long? Come to Italy in October! Together with Suzy and Jeannette from The Blue Walk we'll visit Venice, Padua and Parma. Daily classes, guided walks, lots of drawing, and plenty of time to yourself too. One spot left, so if that's you, sign up now.
Join me online: Mini-Workshop July 8
Every month I host a 90-minute Mini-Workshop on Zoom where we draw together in real time. Next one is Wednesday July 8, all skill levels welcome. Miss the live session? You'll get the recording. Sign up here.
