Why
If you like my Draw Tip Tuesday videos, you might like to hang out and draw with me live.

What
In this fun 90-minute session, we'll draw side by side in real time! Follow along as I draw and guide you through the session.
We'll talk about the creative process, about art supplies, but also about random stuff that will come up. Together we'll be celebrating creativity!
Since we're all in different time zones, this could be your creative coffee break, lunch, or evening session. It’ll be a well-deserved art break!
No special supplies are needed. Just bring your favorite tools and a sketchbook.

You'll also get the recording of the session in case you miss the live session or if you'd like to watch it again in your own time.

Paris Sketchbook September 2026 - only one spot left!

When
September 1-6, 2026

Where
Paris, France

Why
A filled sketchbook is a memento unlike any other. Sketchbooks are intimate and personal and carry the power to bring you back to that moment and all its sensory detail instantly. You think: I wish I could do that. Well, now you can! In Paris!

What
Our goal is simple: to fill a sketchbook in a week. You'll love learning new ways to capture your life in your pages.
Learn from three expert artists: Cynthia Morris, Marcus McAllister and me.
Every day, we’ll meet for workshops on different elements of keeping a travel sketchbook. Beyond drawing or sketching, we will show you how to combine words and images to bring your Paris experience to life in your pages.
Alongside a group of new creative friends, you will have a ton of fun learning and exploring. You’ll get instruction and inspiration from three different teachers.
It’s not just about drawing. You will take a deep dive into your own self, your style, and your growth as an artist.
By the end of the week, you’ll have gained confidence in your style and will love seeing your full, lively sketchbook pages.
Paris in Autumn is one of the best places to be, especially as an artist!

Sketchbook Art Workshop in Italy - SOLD OUT

When
October 11-18, 2026

Where
Venice, Padua and Parma, Italy

Together we will enjoy capturing our adventures in our travel sketchbooks. There will be lots of laughter (pretty much guaranteed), exciting expeditions, relaxing times, and you'll make friends.

What
During this unforgettable, leisurely paced, small-group vacation, I will lead a daily, on-site class inspired by the places we visit. Using many different approaches to drawing, using watercolor, colored pencils and maybe even crayons, your sketchbook will capture people, places, and moments experienced along the way.
Each page will be rich with vivid memories of your travels.

Join me on this art workshop in Padua, Venice, and Parma. It’ll be a mix of guided walks, artisan visits, and cultural experiences. With sketchbook in hand! 4 nights in Padua and 3 nights in Parma.

Bring your favorite tools, but also be ready to be taken out of your comfort zone by me. I will help you broaden your skills and feel more confident when putting pen on paper.

Sketchbook Art Workshop in Nice, France - Spring 2027
SOLD OUT (waiting list available)

When
May 2-8, 2027

Where
Nice, France

Why
This is a trip built around creativity: drawing, exploring, and learning, all set on the French Riviera.
It's a chance to slow down, really see a place instead of just passing through, and to fill your sketchbook with everything around you. You'll draw more, notice more, and you'll come home with a sketchbook full of memories, not just souvenirs. Plus new skills and fresh ideas to bring back into your everyday sketchbook practice.

What
We'll spend six nights in Nice (unpack once, explore a lot) with day trips along the coast between Cannes and Menton, places like Villefranche-sur-Mer, Antibes, Cannes, and Menton.

Every day starts with a seaside walk, leading to destinations for sight seeing and for class. I'll teach on-location sketching sessions every day. And there will be plenty of casual drawing time built into the day.

You’ll practice drawing in the moment, loosening up and I’ll hand you fun approaches and tips. As we experience this unforgettable trip together, we all turn our sketchbooks into living records of the journey.

This is a small-group workshop, and spots filled quickly. Get on the waiting list to be notified when a spot opens up!
