Paris Sketchbook Flip Through

Paris Sketchbook Flip Through

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

Today: a flip through of my latest sketchbook, filled in just three weeks(!)

This book is all about Paris, discoveries and the little adventures that happened along the way. You will see warm ups, class demos, experiments, coffee stains, surprises and a few new favorite pages, in which I see personal artistic growth.
There is a "Paris lexicon", quick on-the-go sketches, people drawings and plenty of playful mess. Some ideas worked, some did not, and that is the fun of it.
The back of this bulky book is stuffed with washi taped treasures from the trip, and the whole thing feels like a visual diary of my wonderful weeks in Paris this fall.

Materials used in this sketchbook

  • PithSupply Sketchbook with 200 gram smooth paper

  • Watercolor

  • Water soluble crayons

  • Pens, pencils and colored pencils

  • Coffee

  • Washi tape for adding cards and collected items

  • and some stamps too
