Sketchbook Tour: Workshop, Woods, and Home
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
I'm sharing an A4 Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook, packed with memories.
It starts with an online Mini Workshop* I hosted, all about greens. Then pages full with drawings done on a sketching workshop in Germany with a great group of people. When we played with twigs and ink in the woods, I learned the "drag and slap" technique, which one of the participants invented right then and there.
There are also drawings back home and even at my desk.
What I love most about flipping through a sketchbook like this is how every page brings back a different moment, a conversation, a sound, a feeling. Some pages are polished, some are unfinished, and I'm OK with both.
